Sam Vaknin is a Visiting Professor of Psychology, Southern Federal University, Rostov-on-Don, Russia, and a Professor of Finance and Psychology at CIAPS (Centre for International Advanced and Professional Studies). Sam Vaknin is the author of Malignant Self-love: Narcissism Revisited and other books about personality disorders. His work is cited in hundreds of books and dozens of academic papers. He spent the past 6 years developing Cold Therapy: a treatment modality for Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD). Over the years, with dozens of volunteers, he found that it was effective with clients suffering from a major depressive episode as well.

Dr. Xiu Liu got his MD & Ph.D. in China and completed postdoctoral training at the Scripps Research Institute in the USA. He is a professor of the Graduate Program in Pathology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He has a two-decade track record of studying drug addiction, particularly nicotine and alcohol addictive behavior in animal models. His research has been funded by USA National Institute of Health and Food and Drug Administration grants and the State of California Tobacco-Related Disease Research Program grants. He has published 60 research papers, 6 book chapters, and more than 80 research abstracts. Dr Liu has served as a member of the grant review panel for international and national research funding agencies and an editorial board member of more than a dozen reputed journals.

Dr. Ramesh Gupta is Pro-Vice-Chancellor, & Professor of chemistry at Nagaland University India. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biochemical Science, and Master of Science in organic chemistry from Lucknow University India, and a Doctorate in Chemistry at Lucknow University, on Drug Development. Dr. Ramesh Gupta is a Medicinal & Bioorganic Chemist and has worked for several years as visiting professor/Scientist in various Medical schools.

Prof Guptas’ research focuses on Natural & Synthetic Drug Development, the role of sulfur amino acids in health care, functional food, nutraceuticals, and environmental Biotechnology & gender issues.

Mojtaba Mafi is a physician/Medical Doctor. He received an M.D. degree from Tehran university school of Medicine with honors and passed successfully many postgraduate Medical education programs approved by Medical Sciences University. He worked clinically in the Neurosurgery ward of Shariati hospital for a Thesis on Brain tumors and Meningioma for 6 years till 2008. He is now active in the clinical setting and scientific field.

Judith Miller, Ph.D., CAC III, Registered Psychotherapist, LENS Adv. Certified, QMAP, EMDR CEO, founder of Soaring Hope Recovery Center in Monument, Colorado. She received her Doctorate in Human Developmental and Family Relations and has decades of experience in Family Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, with a focus on addictions. Her last ten years’ experience is in the area of neuroscience. She provides science-based addiction recovery opportunities to those afflicted with the brain disease of addiction. This state-of-the-science recovery regime includes “Using the brain for a change”, i.e., neurotransmitter rebalancing, brain imaging, and neurofeedback to treat addiction, depression, anxiety, sleep disorders, trauma, PTSD, PMS, and other afflictions controlled by the brain.

Dr. Steven Sek-yum Ngai is a Professor at the Department of Social Work, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). His current research interests are in the areas of social exclusion and youth citizenship, mutual aid and youth empowerment, and service-learning and leadership development. In total, he has published over 140 articles on these areas. Since 2000, he has conducted 29 research projects funded by the Hong Kong Research Grants Council as well as government bureaus and NGOs in Hong Kong or Macau. Dr. Ngai received CUHK Research Excellence Award in 2011 and CUHK University Education Award in 2014.

My current research interests are in the areas of life and career development of disadvantaged youth, mutual aid and youth empowerment, and service-learning and leadership development.
